Is the free plan actually useful?
Unlimited notes, full-text search, cross-device sync, and all three apps. The free plan is how most people use Apptly for a long time before upgrading. Pro is for when AI features become part of your daily process.
How does the AI work — is it sending my notes somewhere?
No. Apptly's AI runs entirely on-device. Your notes never leave your phone or laptop to power the AI features. Summaries, connections, and the daily digest are all generated locally.
What happens to my notes if I cancel Pro?
Nothing gets deleted. You drop to free plan limits — AI features pause, storage reverts to 2GB — but every note stays exactly where it is. Export everything anytime.
Does it work offline?
Fully. Write without a connection and Apptly syncs automatically when you're back online. The AI features work offline too, since they run on-device.
How is this different from Notion or Apple Notes?
