The on-device AI model has been updated to run 40% faster on older devices without any reduction in summary quality. If you're on an iPhone 12 or older Android equivalent, you'll notice the difference immediately.

• Fixed: occasional duplicate notes on first sync

The AI connection panel used to live in a separate view. Now it sits in-context — a small panel at the top of any open note showing related notes in real time as you write. Dismiss it with one tap if you want to stay focused.

A background sync issue affecting Android users on intermittent connections has been resolved. Notes now queue locally and sync reliably when a connection is restored, with no data loss.

• Reduced app launch time on older Android devices

• Fixed: AI summary occasionally generating for notes under 50 words

Capture by speaking. Apptly transcribes your voice note on-device and cleans it up with AI — removing filler words, fixing grammar, and formatting it as a readable note. Available on iOS and Android.

• Improved: search now returns results as you type, not on submit

• Mac app: now available in the Mac App Store (previously invite-only)

Previously you had to request an AI summary manually. From v1.1.0, every note over 200 words gets a three-line summary generated automatically and shown at the top. You can dismiss it or expand it into a full breakdown.

• New: Cross-device sync now includes note history (last 30 versions)

• New: Public profile page — share a curated selection of public notes

• Improved onboarding — profile setup now takes 90 seconds
