Do I need to switch completely?
No. Most people who use Apptly alongside Notion keep Notion for team projects, documentation, and shared workspaces — and use Apptly for personal thinking and quick capture. They solve different problems. You don't have to choose.
Can I import my Notion notes into Apptly?
Yes. Export your Notion pages as Markdown and import them into Apptly from Settings → Import. Formatting, headers, and lists carry over cleanly. Notion's database views and relational fields don't have a direct equivalent, but the written content imports without issues.
Notion has AI too. How is Apptly's AI different?
Notion AI runs in the cloud — your content is sent to a server to generate responses. Apptly's AI runs entirely on your device. Nothing leaves your phone or laptop to power any AI feature. The other difference is intent: Notion AI is a prompted tool (you ask it to do something). Apptly's AI works automatically in the background — you don't prompt it, it just surfaces connections and summaries as you write.
Is Apptly good for teams?
